  1. The mix of Robin Hood activities is a useful preparation for the theatre trip: the jigsaw and spot-the-difference tasks introduce the setting, while the crossword and word search give students the names they may hear in the play. A short teacher video explaining one game could make it easier to start at home; remove the background from the teacher video so the puzzle remains visible. After the performance, did the class return to any of these games to check what they remembered?

  2. The 33-piece and 40-piece Robin Hood jigsaws offer two levels of the same visual task, alongside the Hangman and memory activities. Asking pupils to describe one movement they noticed in the performance could connect the theatre visit with the vocabulary practice. For an original illustrated example, a way to produce transparent character animation frames lets the poses be reviewed individually before the whole gesture is presented.
